According to the company, this is a full-time role that requires employees to work rotating 8-hour shift schedules during their business hours.
Payment is referred to as $16–$28.27/hr.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays. Employees must have flexibility to work any 8 hour shift during the hours of 6:00am-12:00pm. CST Monday through Friday and rotating Saturday shift 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CST. It may be necessary, given business necessity, to work occasional overtime and weekends.
We offer 8 weeks of paid training. Times during training will be 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday – Friday. The training will take place virtually from your home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make contacts to schedule a variety of specific medical and dental services according to client availability and policy guidelines.
- Respond to a variety of inquiries and resolve issues related to scheduling / processing appointments and completing service on time while maintaining sensitivity to military culture.
- Conduct client contacts related to health assessment processing, referral follow-up, training and resource inquiries.
- Identify potential behavioral health conditions and follow convention specific protocol to assist callers.
Maintain constant awareness of service level and queue status in order to meet contractual requirements.

Qualifications required:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work every second Saturday shift between 7am-5pm. CST
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift during the hours 6:00am-12:00pm. CST Monday-Friday and rotating Saturday shift 7:00am-5:00pm. It may be necessary, given business necessity, to work occasional overtime and
- Weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous military experience
- Work experience in the healthcare industry
- Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare
- Experience working in a call center environment
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, data entry and sorting), Word (creating and editing word documents) and Outlook (email and calendar)
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all sensitive company documents (if any) secure
- A dedicated work space that is separated from other living spaces and provides privacy of information is required
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed Internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed Internet service
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Hawaii / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents it is $16.00 – $28.27 per hour.
