What is your current FastComet title and how long have you been playing it?
I’m your neighborhood Troubleshooter here at FastComet. I’ve been helping clients navigate the tech world for four years and five months, give or take 110,063,832 seconds. I have more than 7000+ chats under my belt and who knows how many support tickets. It’s safe to say that my title might be Hosting Superhero among other legends. So if my manager reads this, I hope he can invite me to FastComet’s Justice League.
What Are you nervous about your role at FastComet?
What really motivates me is seeing the light bulb moment go off for clients! Whether we’re helping them understand a technical concept or guiding them through a complex issue, there’s immense satisfaction in enabling them to conquer the digital world with FastComet by their side.

A typical day involves using my headset to connect with customers, tackle technical puzzles to solve their problems, and leave them with a thumbs up experience! And when I’m not putting together solutions for our clients, you can find me tinkering with a puzzle of a different kind – one with 1000-2000 pieces waiting to be mastered!

Coffee or tea?
I can’t imagine a day without coffee. I often consume caffeine to boost my energy levels and stay sharp throughout the day.
Cats or Dogs?
We have a female cat named Abi, a male miniature dachshund named Guffy, and two female Labradors. While dogs may require more attention, our cat also holds a special place, as it is not just a pet, but a beloved member of the family.
Early Bird or Night Owl?
Being early is essential to parenting two wonderful children—a boy and a girl (Christian and Blagovesta). However, I don’t hesitate to burn the midnight oil, whether it’s to complete a task or indulge in hobbies like spending time with my little ones or playing cards with friends after they’ve gone to bed.
Todor, what is your most important professional or personal goal for this year?
Ah, let’s fast forward to the future, shall we? My big plan for this year involves upping our business game and satisfying our customers more than kids in a candy store. Picture this: I’ll throw in a dash of innovation here, a dash of customer delight there, and voila! We will be the talk of the town (in a good way, of course). And personally? I aim to keep my witticisms sharp enough to compete with a stand-up comedian, while mastering the juggling act of working and playing without dropping balls (at least figuratively).
What are your hobbies when you’re not troubleshooting our user site?
When I’m not diving into the digital trenches, my secret alter ego, you can find me in the kitchen transforming into a culinary chef, or at least trying to. Picture this: me, dressed in an apron and wielding a spatula like a sword, with my trusty sidekick (my kid) perched on a pan, adding a dose of mischief to the mix and serving up laughter along with the meal. Oh wait, you don’t have to imagine that.
When I’m not concocting culinary adventures, let’s reminisce about our family’s adventures in the great outdoors, where we traverse scenic trails, hike through lush forests, and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature’s embrace.
Besides work and family, you may find me indulging in another passion of mine: soccer! I am a proud supporter of the local football club of Plovdiv, “Botev”. They are not just a team, but part of the heart and soul of our city. Imagine the stadium alive with chants, the excitement in the air palpable as we cheer on our favorite team with my wife and children. Whether we’re celebrating a well-deserved victory or shaking off a tough loss, the experience of being there together is what really matters.
Fun event! Did you know that “Botev” is one of the oldest football institutions in Bulgaria, founded on March 11, 1912? That’s right – over a century of football history in Plovdiv!
Have you ever made a hilarious typo in a customer chat or ticket?
No matter what I say, I am guilty of underestimating the situation. I would love to reminisce and share stories about my epic typing failures. it seems my memory is playing tricks on me. I must confess that I am too perfect to remember such blunders. But fear not, because even wizards like me aren’t immune to the occasional keyboard slip. If only my fingers worked as well as my intentions.
What’s your favorite part of working remotely, Todor?
Working remotely definitely has its perks! My favorite part about working from anywhere is the flexibility. It allows me to get in a quick workout during the day, which helps me stay energized and focused throughout the workday. However, let’s not forget the chaos that sometimes prevails at home. With two kids and a wife whose antics rival a comedy show. It is inevitable.
It’s not that I don’t love my family very much. However, the occasional escape to the office becomes a necessity for my sanity. There is something strangely calming about the hum of the office compared to the cacophony of home life! However, telecommuting offered me something more. I value every second I spend with my family, which keeps me even more motivated to get the best possible results in my work.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career in technology?
It’s like when I go hiking with my family. As we explore new paths and immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature, a career in technology offers that kind of adventure. Keep that curiosity alive. you will always discover something new and exciting. And just as I’m constantly honing my cooking skills, be sure to cultivate your technological talents as well. Keep learning and growing – it’s the best way to thrive in this ever-evolving field.
