The company will kick things off with 4+ hours of online training (you’ll be paid for training time) to help set you up for success.
Payment for this position is listed as $18-$23/hour + performance incentives. You will also get one free demo product during employment (where applicable).

We are looking for engaging, motivated and organized individuals to represent countless innovative consumer electronics brands. As a Brand Influencer, you will educate consumers, drive sales and foster strong relationships with staff at your assigned retail store. Additionally, you will provide aisle training to empower retail associates and management, ultimately leading to increased sales for you and our product.
Now offering part-time opportunities nationwide, both seasonal and long-term, with weekend and weekday shifts available. To set you up for success in your role, you will complete 4+ hours of training, which includes e-learning courses and virtual product training, prior to in-store activation.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Increase consumer sales and brand awareness through proactive in-store engagement and showcasing our customers’ innovative products.
- Achieve KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and strive to consistently achieve sales and program goals.
- Convert product benefits into sales. we fully understand the features and benefits of our client’s products to effectively share this knowledge with consumers.
- Demonstrate a professional and positive demeanor while representing BDS and our Clients. build lasting partnerships and relationships with store staff.
- Attract and educate retail associates while creating excitement to increase the recommendation rate of our customers’ products.
- Before you leave the store, use your personal smartphone device to gather, summarize and report daily via our reporting tool on field and channel feedback and activity, as well as update the BDS team on competitive information.
- Periodically coordinates and executes special in-store sales and awareness events as required.
- Complete 4+ hours of virtual/online BDS and product training until in-store activation (exact amount depends on the brands you represent). This paid training will prepare you for success in this role!
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background in consumer electronics, retail environment and/or field/experiential marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in sales, demonstrations and/or customer service, preferably in a retail or experiential environment.
Skills and Attributes:
- Interest in technology and ability to quickly learn new products and capabilities.
- Start yourself with a strong commitment to achieve results and achievements.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, outgoing and comfortable in a competitive, consumer-facing environment.
- High level of initiative with a constant drive to learn.
- Strong sales negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays and full virtual/online training during the week (both self-guided and live calls).
- Access to either a personal iPhone or Android smartphone for on-the-spot reference before leaving the store.
