F29: 29 Days of February Creative Challenge with Ryan Robinson

I was always afraid of what people thought of me. In the videos, I’m afraid I’ll come across as disingenuous. That I’ll look like I don’t know what I’m talking about. That my hair won’t be perfect.

So yesterday, I decided I’m sick of it. I overcome this fear.

Now I know who I am and why I am here. I am ready to move through what was once a limiting self-belief and into my land of the free.

I have a feeling I’m not alone in this fear. Just a hunch. Maybe not, but possibly? If you are reading these words, you are feeling something which touches on a related fear you have deep inside—sharing yourself with other people and if creating video content feels right but inexplicably scary, come try it with me and you won’t be alone 😊

As a man of extremes, of course I decided to go Really big with it. 29 days. 29 videos. 29 opportunities to embarrass myself (or ourselves together?).

In February, I go straight to the heart of my fear. If you have similar fears that hold you back from creating and sharing your gifts with the world…whether in video, podcast, or written form…I want to invite you to be a part of this creative challenge.

I know. I came up with the name late last night while making this video:

Join me in the F29 challenge

What is this F29 Challenge Thing?

Starting February 1, 2024, I will create and post 1 new video every day of the month.

And if this speaks to you, I want you to do the same with me. Or at least to do your version from this. Maybe this is your first video. Maybe you’re ambitious, but more reasonable than me and want to commit to making 1 video every week.

The number doesn’t matter. Neither is the format you create your content in, tbh. Everyone is welcome at this creative accountability party.

What matters is that you have the opportunity (for free) to join a community of at least 1 other creator… possibly dozens, maybe even hundreds… taking real, real steps to express ourselves as individuals, together.

Here’s what you can expect when you join me in the F29 Video Challenge:

1. Join me in a private Discord group where we’ll share our creations, hold each other accountable, and give constructive feedback (this group has a polite leadership policy)
2. Access my recording schedule in a template copy and paste board that you can use to schedule your own creations for the month (and hopefully forever)
3. Real, raw, honest and kindly feedback shared for you work art, by me all month
4. A look behind the scenes budget friendly tools, gear and equipment I use to capture and edit video quickly
5. My process for researching and creating smart video topics that will attract new audiences

And probably many more, based on the unique challenges, wants and desires of whoever joins me on this challenge.

You will certainly have access to the free YouTube video maker, but you can play around with it right now very.

More than anything else… my goal is to do this with you… to be with you. And to show you that creating great videos that truly educate and entertain people doesn’t have to be difficult, time-consuming, or expensive.

What happens from February 1st?

Let’s start making things! I’m going to make 29 videos, but you can make whatever you want… start your blog and write with us, record your first podcast episodes, dust off your easel and paint as much as you want, get out your pencils and to illustrate with us.

There’s no wrong way to participate in this creative challenge. I will make videos and challenge you to think about it first, but all brave creators are welcome to my parties.

When you join the challenge, you can expect two things from me:

1. An invite to our private Discord community (coming January 30th)
2. A preparation checklist to get the most out of this challenge (coming January 30th)

It’s very simple, really…

• I will create fun, useful things for and with the beautiful people in my world
• I will conquer my fears — and if you have fears that could throw in some rhyme, I invite you to do it with me

Maybe, just maybe, this will be a little less scary, doing it together.
