Multiple sites
“How many sites can I have on FastCloud Extra?” is a question we hear often. We assume this is because other hosting companies have such a limit on all their packages. At FastComet, however, you’re not limited to one site per Extra hosting plan. It is more than capable of handling more than one website! We encourage you to use the space and resources you pay for to host multiple sites, if you need them, of course.
With its superior resources, you will have no problem hosting multiple websites on the FastCloud Extra plan. But how do you do that? We have two great tutorials on the subject: one shows you how to add new sites as subdomains, while the other will teach you how to do it on separate domains entirely.
Resource Monitoring
But how do you determine how many sites the FastCloud Extra plan can handle? Comfortable! Our services include continuous resource monitoring. You can see how much of your plan’s resources you’ve used at any given time. Whether it’s the bandwidth your web pages move, the disk space they take up, the number of daily executions or even the sizes of their databases. You can track all these statistics with our Observer System.
To access it, log in to your account on our website and click Monitoring. You’ll see an overview of each program in that account and how many resources it’s using. Click on Details to, as the name suggests, see all the fine details.
You will see a detailed breakdown of all the important resources related to the hosting plan. You can even see how your site is doing by the hour, day or month! This is how you can keep track of how much of your hosting plan you are using and if you can put another site on it!
One month of daily backups
Backups are invaluable in this day and age where anything can happen to a website. Bad plugin updates, faulty code, malware or hackers can destroy a website in seconds. Fortunately, the FastCloud Extra plan comes with a month’s worth of daily backups from which you can get your site back up and running.
Every day, the server takes snapshots of all your hosting plan’s files, databases, and email accounts, to name the most important things it backs up. That way, you can be sure that even if something happens to your site, you can easily restore it to the way it was with one of these backups. It’s super easy to do and we have a great tutorial to walk you through the process if you want to know how it works.
