Their Quick, Easy Application Process
Working Solutions’ free application process is designed to get you up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible with these five simple steps:
1. Create a candidate profile (5 minutes): Explore our current opportunities to see our open contracts. Once you find one that interests you, click “Apply Now” to create a candidate profile. We will ask you some basic information and questions to determine if you have the right tools to work with us.
2. Add your experience and skills (5 minutes): You will add your professional experience and skills to determine which opportunities might be the best fit for you.
3. Get reviews (30 minutes): As part of the application process, contractors will be asked to complete an online assessment to determine if working with Working Solutions is a good fit. The assessment takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Each candidate must complete this assessment to be considered for the contract.
4. Install and run the technology scanner (3 minutes): You will be asked to download, install and run a non-invasive scanner to verify if your technology meets Working Solutions requirements.
5. Complete the application questions for the program and complete interview: Answer questions specific to the customer program you are interested in and complete your interview.
Since you will be contracting from home, you will need to have specific situations and technology in place to ensure a smooth interface with their technology and with the clients you will be supporting. This includes:
- Quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours
- Broadband Internet connection, at least 10 MBPS recommended
- Wired Internet connection for use during technology setups, while attending training courses, and while working
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system must be used
- Valid anti-virus software installed, running and up-to-date
- Wired USB headset with microphone (gaming headsets not accepted)
- Grantees must have a smart phone, Android tablet or iPad and be willing to install an authentication application relevant to the program’s work.

Since you will set your own hours, you could work full-time, part-time, or a combination of both, depending on program availability and your personal and/or financial needs. You can work up to 10-15 hours per week or 40+ – minimum required hours will vary by program.
For this TurboTax opportunity, there will be plenty of hours available to work before Tax Day, and especially on Tax Day.

Since you, as a contractor, will be serving their clients, Working Solutions provides free training courses that will give you the information and context you need to tailor your customer service skills to a specific client and their clients.
In addition, Working Solutions provides its (your) contractors with ongoing support as they work with their clients.
